Exhibit: Urban Playground

The lower-level experience at the Skydeck Chicago at Willis Tower culminates with “Urban Playground,” leaving visitors with a lasting impression of what makes the energetic metropolis so extraordinary.

I worked as a visual designer to develop storyboards, create UI and style frames, and design 3D compositions for this piece.

Exhibit Overview

Urban Playground is a mixed media projection piece where Chicago highlights play out across a curved projection surface with a real Willis Tower 3D model as its perspective center. Looking at the city from this perspective builds anticipation for the elevator ride up to the Skydeck.
